From English teacher to web designer.

I needed a website for my tutoring business, and that’s where it started.

Freelance Web Designer
& WordPress Developer

After spending over a decade teaching English to professionals in New Zealand, Canada, and online, I transitioned into web design through building websites for my own businesses.

Today I design and build WordPress websites for service-based businesses, helping them present their services clearly and professionally online.

How it started

I worked as an English language teacher for over a decade before moving my work online during the pandemic.

I needed a website for my tutoring business, so I spent months learning how to build one myself. After that I built another for a corporate English training business I was running, and found I enjoyed building websites as much as running the businesses themselves.

A few people asked me to help with their own websites, which led me to take it more seriously and eventually pursue web design professionally.

How I approach projects

I start every project by understanding the business, the audience, and what the website needs to achieve.

From there, I focus on creating a clear structure and user experience that helps visitors understand the business and confidently take the next step.
